Welcome to Connecticut Art School in South Windsor. In the fall we will be starting our 24rd year of teaching and sharing our love of art.
Each year we have a theme that is the focus of our Annual Student Art Show and ties in to special projects and community events throughout the year.
The 2025/2026 theme is Myths, Legends, and Tall Tales.
Classes run weekly from September 8, 2025 through June 15, 2025. Our program is unique in that it is continuous session to session. Once a student registers they are guaranteed that spot for the year. Skills build on each other throughout the year so we highly recommend beginning with us in September. However, you can join a class at any time if space is available. To learn more about our classes, click here!
Our school year is divided into sessions with breaks for Thanksgiving, winter holidays, and spring break. Payment is due before each session begins - there is a $10 late fee if payments are not received on time. Please read the School Policies page for more information.
JOIN A WAITLIST - Often our classes are full. We will gladly add your child’s name to a waitlist and let you know as soon as a spot becomes available. Take a look at the schedule and email us a request listing your class choices in order. We do our best to find classes for everyone.

1st session: 8 weeks

Invoices for Session 1 will be sent on August 4, 2025
2nd session: 9 weeks
November 3, 2025 - January 25, 2026
Closed Tuesday, November 25th - Saturday, November 29th - Thanksgiving Break
Closed Monday, December 22nd - Saturday, January 3rd, 2025 - Winter Holiday Break
Closed Monday, January 19th - Martin Luther King Day
Note: Open on Monday, November 24th - make up day for Martin Luther King Day 1/19

3rd session: 9 weeks
January 26, 2025 - March 28, 2026

4th Session: 9 weeks
March 30, 2025 - June 15, 2026

TUITION:
Annual registration fee - $25 per family.
All classes meet weekly for 1.5 hours.
Session 1 (eight-week session) - $272.
Sessions 2, 3 & 4 (nine-week sessions) $306 per session.
With the exception of a sketchbook for Levels 3 and 4, all supplies are included.
Students in Level 3 and Level 4 are required to bring a spiral bound sketch book to class. All other art supplies are included with tuition. We use all quality art supplies and include a variety of mediums. We also recommend all students have art supplies to work with at home both for fun and for make-up classes. Some of our favorite supplies are listed here. There are no refunds or in-person make ups for missed classes. We’ll email you a video or provide printed material so your student can create and catch up at home. Please read the School Policies page for more information.
