It's an exciting time at the art school. We’re celebrating our 16th birthday and every class will join in the festivities.

PLEASE NOTE: During party week if you need to miss your regular class please come to another class in the same Level. You can not make up classes missed during party week after this week.

We'll also be starting to prepare for our Annual Art Show in May - the theme is a Masquerade Ball for our Sweet Sixteen. Lots of creative fun coming up πŸ™‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ­

Seeking a creative individual who loves art and working with children. Hours are 4-8 pm Monday, Wednesday, and possibly Friday - approximately 8-12 hours a week. It is possible that we split the hours and hire two people. This is a rare opportunity to join our teaching team.

Our ideal applicant has:
*A BFA or art related degree (a teaching degree is not a requirement). Teaching artists are welcome to apply. Education, experience, and training will be considered.
*Teaching experience - specifically working with children.
*The desire to work with other like minded artists who want to teach and share their love of art and an understanding of the value of art education.

Connecticut Art School is located at 1730 Ellington Road, South Windsor. We have been in business almost 16 years and we teach approximately 200 students a week. Our students come from 32 surrounding towns. We are primarily an after school enrichment program. We have a great teaching space, wonderful art supplies to work with, a supportive, encouraging, fun group of teachers and the best students and families around. We offer a school year weekly class program and a full summer camp program.
