School Policies & Make Ups
Registration
A registration form must be completed for each student. We print these forms and keep them at the school so we have contact information easily available. It’s important to have updated forms for returning students.
There is a one-time per year family registration fee of $25. Registration must be included with your first session tuition.
Once you fill out the Online Registration Form you’ll receive an invoice from PayPal. If you don’t see it take a look in your spam or junk folders - it will be sent to the email on your registration form.
The invoice must be made within 3 days of receipt to hold the space in class.
Level 3 and 4 students need to bring a sketchbook that can be left at the school. We suggest a 7x10 or 9x12 spiral bound book. All other supplies for all classes are included.
Six students are required for a class to begin. If enrollment drops below six students we reserve the right to cancel the class.
Once you register the spot is yours for the school year. If your child chooses not to continue or has a schedule change and needs to switch classes please let us know 2 weeks before the end of a session. If you know you want to change a class time let us know as soon as possible.
Tuition
Tuition is due in advance of each session. A calendar with all session dates can be found here.
Tuition payment must be confirmed within three days of invoice receipt.
Invoices will be sent through PayPal to the email address you supply on the registration form. All major credit cards are accepted and you do not need a PayPal account to make payments.
Checks and cash payments are also accepted - email us, info@ct-artschool.com, to make arrangements if you prefer one of these options
Tuition is subject to a $10 late fee 7 days after the session due date. There is a $20 charge for returned checks.
Refunds are not available for missed classes.
Make-Up Classes
There are no refunds or credits for missed classes. If a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 student is unable to attend their class, we will do our best to help ensure students finish the project. Some projects can be completed through virtual, prerecorded video instruction if one is available for that project. These videos would allow students to make up classes at home. When possible, we will email you a link to a video or provide printed materials. Students may be allowed to attend a make-up class other than the one they are registered for at the discretion of the teachers. Level 4 students please contact your teacher if you miss a class.
Disruptive Behavior
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate enrollment as necessary. Disruptive or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated and students who do not comply will not be allowed to continue. Parents will be contacted and if the behavior repeats the student will not be allowed to remain in class. It is our top priority that the school and studio are safe places for all students. Any remaining tuition is non-refundable.
