Students
may participate in any class that’s appropriate for their interest
and skill. Age is not a prerequisite for any class, but a starting point. Homeschool students are always welcome to join any of the afternoon, evening or Saturday classes.
Homeschool (1.5 hours) 7 - 12 year olds, Tuesday from 1:00- 2:30 pm
We have created a completed new format for the 2009/2010 Homeschool classes. This year there are 5 sessions, each meeting for 5-weeks.
You must register for a session 2 weeks before the session begins - specific dates will be posted soon. Six students are required for each session. You can register for as many sessions as you like - this allows flexibility with your schedule.
Please read the Enrollment and Make-Up Policies page for more information about make-up classes. Homeschool classes are already discounted so other discounts do not apply. Since these classes include a 3D component we incur a larger expense offering them.
Each session will include drawing, painting and 3D projects
Projects in this class are designed to guide students in developing their
drawing skills while encouraging self-expression and individual creativity.
Most of the lessons are guided, with the teacher showing how to break
the subject matter down into basic art elements. Students will have
their own vision and build on the instructions to create their own finished
piece. The non-competitive, friendly atmosphere allows students to take
risks and try new things.
Ages: 7 - 12 years old
Time: Tuesdays from 1:00 - 2:30 pm - snow days will be made up at the same time on Thursdays during the same week
Cost: Each 5 week session is $105, all materials are included
Sessions: Please note classes end before Thanksgiving and resume after the December holidays.
